Website Design and Development.
Websites are what we do. It’s what we love and it’s where our main skills and passions lie. As mentioned on the About Page, we learned web design and development together and we’ve been teaching each other and pushing each other ever since. Through years of working on different projects we’ve found that we each have interests in specific aspects of building websites, which is why we work together so well. While one of us is working on making everything work properly, the other is making everything look pretty.
We always have the end user as our main focus. The site needs to look great, it needs to be easily manageable to keep it up to date and it needs to be easy to use. What’s the point in having a great-looking website with loads of awesome content if it’s impossible to navigate to what you want?!

Although ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ is all well and good, we’ve all been guilty at one time or another of choosing a certain product because of how it looks. At LUX we understand that first impressions count. Potential customers will often decide on a product based on how it looks, at times deciding within just seconds whether or not they like a certain brand.
Whether you’re a new or well established brand, if you need some help with graphics and making your company look good, we can definitely come to some decisions together and create some awesome stuff for you. Most web design companies use a lot of stock imagery. Although it’s sometimes unavoidable, we don’t really like this approach and love to use original imagery in all our sites. We’ll happily come and see you and take our own photos wherever possible; if not, we can use photos provided by you or your photographer. Ultimately it’s up to you.
Photographs can often be make or break for companies. Whether it’s product shots, location shots, action shots or head shots, we can make you look great. If you have a cool product and need some awesome photos taking, let us use our creative eye to snap some sweet shots!
Social Marketing
Everyone is on social media these days! If it’s not Facebook it’s Instagram, and if it’s not Instagram it’s Twitter.. The list goes on (and on). Remember those cool photos we talked about in the section above? Let’s get them on Instagram! And while we’re at it, Facebook too. Social media is easy – right?! Just post a few words on Facebook now and then, a photo on Instagram, Twitter has a 140 character limit, so that must be easy?!
Unfortunately, although social media seems easy, it can be pretty tough if you go about it the wrong way. Luckily, we know the right way. If you want some help with your social media marketing then let us do the leg work.
