About This Project

Etiquette Marine is one of the Gold Coast’s best all-in yacht and maritime services companies and they needed a website to show that. Jonathon came to me with a fairly clear idea of what he needed. He had examples of sites he’d seen and he’d thought about the functionality he’d need. I took some notes and came up with a mock up of the site.

Jonathon needed to be able to showcase what services he offers, show past jobs he’s done and keep it updated with regular content, take bookings directly from the site for his various services and, to top it all off, he also has a wide range of products he wanted to be able to sell from the site. There was a lot of functionality required for this site and it took some planning to get things just right so that we were happy with a balance of highly-functional and user-friendly.

I’m very happy with how the site turned out and Jonathon had some great images to use for the headings (almost all the images on the site are Jonathon’s own which adds an awesome extra personal touch to the final product). As well as the features mentioned previously the site is also fully responsive across all sized devices, has a live weather widget for to-the-hour Gold Coast weather, a bulk order form, a news section, live and interactive map and more.
